This weekend in New York and LA, Joshua Marston’s THE FORGIVENESS OF BLOOD opened to great numbers in New York and Los Angeles despite heavy competition at the box office. Director Joshua Marston and the film’s two young stars Sindi Lacej and Tristan Halilaj brought sold-out crowds to the Lincoln Plaza Cinemas and Sunshine on Saturday night, and a solid performance at LA’s the Nuart brought the film’s per-screen average  to a remarkable $9,000.
